Today I would like to share some things I found....

The First is from a site I really love...Tipnut...I subscribe to her
newsletter which is filled with oodles and oodles of things to create, household tips
recipes and much more.

The link I would love to share with you today is

Here you will find so many cute items to make..one of my favorites is this

Here is her Etsy Shop  There are

There are lots of other cute projects that you can create from your fabric remnants...I love tipnut..you can also subscribe to their newsletter and get weekly updates.

Any of these little items would make a very sweet christmas gift and with the economy like it is ...this would be a great way to save on this year's Christmas gifts..plus a handmade gift means so much more to those who are lucky enough to get one.

I would also love to share my daughters etsy store:

Mandy's shop is full such cute items..like child's aprons..these are priced so affordable..lots of buyers use them for tea party favors...they are made from all the latest fabrics and are lined.
I don't think there is a better priced quality apron listed on etsy.
She also makes key fobs, the cutest cuff bracelets, bookmarks, pillows, blankets and doll aprons.

My friend Carolyn who shares a flea market booth with me..was out bright and early this morning at carport sales.  She gave me a couple to check on..now I don't usually go to very many sales..that's why Carolyn, who goes every Fri..has so many more goodies than I do.  I love seeing what she brings in..so many good buys.
But today I went to several and it was well worth
my time.  Now I have a very nice basket, several wood shelves and one of my favorites..an oldfashion small step ladder..these little ladders make perfect plant stands or side tables.  So I will be painting this afternoon..hopefully..I can post some photos of the finished items.
Here a a collage of our booth...we share a room at a local flea market in my small town..Presley's Flea Market.

Before I close...check out my etsy store

I have listed lots of Baby Monthly Onesie Ironon Transfers..these make really great shower gifts or just a gift for the new baby.  They are simple to use and can be applied with household iron.  These are not stickers, but ironons...so they will be a nice gift to keep.
When your baby turn 1 month, 2 months etc take a snap show and you're photo is dated.  Most of my sets are 1-12 months with a Just Born added.
Here is a couple photos of what I have on Etsy...plus a photo one of my customers sent showing how she used these as a baby shower decoration.

Note: The two ladies whose Etsy shops and tutorials I listed above both live in Va....they may not be on line due to the hurricane..but please check out these shops..they are so cute.  And let us not forget the people in the NE that are suffering from this hurricane and keep them in our prayers...and give to help them in their present need.

Ok, now I am off to paint my garage sale goodies...Hope you have a great day.

Hello!

Good Morning

It's Oct. 31st. Halloween..first day of my new blog......Odd day to pick to begin a blog.

Oh well...Fall is my favorite time of the year and I do love Halloween...although I didn't decorate this year...I usually love decorating for Halloween...however this year is different..I lost my husband of 47 years in Feb. of this year..so things are a little different as I stated before.

Life is different...things change...but we have to go on.  I have been blessed with a wonderful family...6 children, plus a son(inlaw) and two daughters(inlaw) by marriage and a total of 13 grandkids....so we have been blessed..God has given me a good life and I am very grateful.  I am very thankful for this wonderful family...they have been so good to me..I am blessed.

Happy Whimsy is the name of my new etsy shop..
I have two the other is Little Goodie 2 Shoes

Little Goodie 2 Shoes features baby onesie ironon transfers among other items for children and moms...Happy Whimsy features handmade jewelry and other whimsies that I decide to create.

These two shops plus being a partner in a local flea market take up a lot of my time..seems like I am always running behind..but I enjoy it.
So from time to time I'll post things pertaining to my shop...items I really like..craft projects...tibits that I think worth sharing...photos...ect.

This blog will most likely be a hodgepodge of different goodies that I would like to share.

Speaking of sharing....this photo is of my porch last year.  I do love fall the cold crisp air and the beautiful trees..raking gumballs and leafs ughh..but mostly it is wonderful season..I even don't mind winter.

I do plan to decorate for Thanksgiving...a few pumpkins and maybe a scarecrow or two.  My house is approx. 120 years old..it's an old farm house..I love old houses  We have lots of very old tall oaks, pines, walnuts and gumball trees...they are so pretty.

I have another link I would like to share..it's my favorite candle shop in a little Arkansas town just north of here. It's in Eureak Springs, a beautiful little victorian town that I love to visit.

Spring Street Candle Shop...here is a link to their  site...they have wonderful potpourii and candles..before you enter the door of the shop you are surrounded by the yummy aroma of their candles..plus they have seasonal gifts.  It is so much fun to visit.

Here is a photo of their shop...with a link below.

I'll post some links to Eureka in another post..it is a wonderful place to visit

Now before I close this post..I want to show you some pictures of my local flea market booth which I share and enjoy with a very good friend..Carolyn..she is the mother of my daughter's husband and she is a very good person and a true friend.
This is a collage of our booth I took yesterday..Carolyn has tons of good buys in furniture and other goodies...I have a few chairs and handmades.

I don't know how she manages to keep this booth full of great buys while working at our local school and creating tons of good cooking.  She is a busy upbeat lady and I am thankful that she is my friend.

Now here is a photo of my sons and daughters...except for my youngest son.  He was farming and didn't get into the photo..it's  very rare when we are all together at the same time....some live close to me..one lives in TN and another lives in Fl.  I would love to have a picture of us all with the grandkids...that would be a first.

Before I close this post..I have two more photos...one is of my granddaughter  Ashley who lives with me..She is a Godsent.  The other is of my husband Rodney...who we miss very much.
